Kidney & Dialysis Specialists of the Palm Beaches was established in 2006 by
Michael Lotfi, M.D., Board Certified Nephrologist. Dr. Lotfi provides patient-centered treatment for disorders ranging from general nephrology, complex and essential hypertension, dialysis modalities, transplant care and clinical research.
It is the goal of our highly trained support staff and medical physician to provide the highest quality of care, whether you are recently diagnosed or a long-standing renal patient. We achieve this goal by partnering with and empowering our patient through realistic personalized treatment plans and patient education.

At Kidney & Dialysis Specialists, we endeavor to work with the highest-ranking insurance companies in the market, to assist with you patient care. It is important to note, that even though we are credentialed with your insurance company, we may not accept your PLAN. If unsure, our staff will be happy to assist you with verifying your plan. Patients with HMO plans will require an authorization for each visit, obtained by their primary care provider. We will request from your primary care provider, on your behalf, authorization for the visit. However, it is your responsibility to follow up with your PCP on the status of the referral request. HMO patients will not be seen without authorization.
